right so i get a phone call from my grandmother who says something bad happened, she wont tell me what happened.So,i have to sit and wait thinking of all the possible meanings of the word"bad" until my parents get home and she talks to them. Finally they do. My cousin mike was hit in the head with a lacrosse ball a couple days ago, he was in the hospital, and he died today. He was my age. His twin, jenny must be in so much pain. right so havnt written in a while, big suprise. went to ca, came back. Started classes ,i'm taking some really awsome ones this semester. Too bad i'll probuably have to drop some of them. Why? Oh, didnt i mention. I have mono. Thank you adam (alex's friend. I think i drank out of the same glass as him. I am updating again. Wow, I will set a record. Well, Alex is home. I missed him alot more than i realized. I used to never get along with him but now we get along great. He said he liked the package i sent him. Andrea, u already know what is in it, but for those of u who don't here is a list: A nerf football, water balloons, a pirate eyepatch, a corncob pipe, a box of toothpicks(alex has a thing with always chewing on a toothpick), a giant fake cigar, a lei, a 50 cent happy bunny toy, a pair of plastic fake theatre boobs, a batman action figure,a roll of toilet paper, a tampon box filled with candy, and a tissue box filled with candy to serve as a decoy for the tampon box. I think he enjoyed the package. I miss going to camp. I was thinking of working there next summer but if i get a chance to do theatre camp again I want to do that. Alex will probably work there next summer. I wonder if he will enjoy it as much as being a camper? From the way he describes this year, not much can top it. I suppose it is his turn to give back, and give the kids some of the awesome times he had. It's funny, but unless u have gone to wise or something like it, it is almost impossible to understand the feelings you have for the place. It has been a long time since i had been there last but when we dropped Alex off, i had an urge not to get back in the car and just stay there.It is a world away from every thing, where you can just be with your friend, you can escape whatever you are there to escape from. Went to Crosby stills and Nash last night. It was absolutely amazing. my dad almost didn't make it. He came halfway through. I was glad he got to come though. He had been talking about going for ages. My mother said she falt weid sitting in seats, it used to be blankets in the grass.She got a little annoyed at the smoke. I asked her how she managed in the 6o's. She said "simple. Back them,people were stoned, so they were nice, and moved. Now they are shikers, so they are mean, and dont move. My mother has made some of the funniest comments. She was cool enough to be a hippie and go to woodstock and all she remembers is that it took all day to get there and that it rained. Any way, Me and drea had an awsome time. They played this grat new song about enron, which is going to be our theme song for me and drea's anti bush cmapain. At the end of the concert they played "teach your children well" I't's like someone sent them a memo saying "by the way, "helen is at this concert with her rents, make it special". So yea, it was cool.time to sleep now. May 5th, 2004: beginings RIght, so i just started this journal. I started it so i could comment on Drea's friend page but i am thinking that i might actually use it. Sometimes a place to vent is a good thing u know? I got to my final about 30 minutes late today, luckily the teacher likes me and let me turn in my project anyway. i was late cause a was at flour hospital for my monthly blood tests( sounds like fun i know)It turns out i did well in the class which is cool. Mother is being impossible again, same old....not much else to say |
